The weather has been slowly cooling off and we are itching to get out all of our Halloween and Fall decor and it is finally time! We are even ready to make some new fall decor pieces. If you are in the same fall crafting mood as us, we have the perfect solution with this tutorial for a Halloween and Thanksgiving Wood Sign.

These signs are great for a craft night. Get your friends together and everyone can put their own spin on these customizable wood craft kit signs. Paint using your favorite colors and mix it up by adding different embellishments. I hope I get invited to a craft night like this. Once you've finished your signs, hang them up around your home, use the Halloween sign for October and then easily switch it out for the Thanksgiving sign in November.

You will need a few basic supplies to get started:

1. Wood Sign Kits

2. Paint

3. Paint Brushes

4. Craft Glue

Instructions

Let's get to some fun fall crafting.

1. Pick out your kit and paint colors.

2. Paint individual pieces.

3. Add embellishments such as glitter, or distressing using paints.

4. All pieces to dry completely.

5. Assemble by gluing all pieces together.

6. Allow glue to dry.

7. After completely dried, display by adding a ribbon or twine to hang the cut fall sign.

Finishing the Look

It could be by adding a special ribbon or twine to hang the sign from. Try adding a bow to the ribbon.

When painting use different techniques for distressing, or add glitter accents.
